Adaptation Planning

Adaptation planning is preparing to minimize the negatve impacts and take advantage of the potential opportunities related to climate change. Several communities in BC have taken steps to assess the impacts that climate change is likely to have in their regions, and are now considering potential actions to take to prepare for those impacts.

This section of the website provides information on adaptation planning. The information can be accessed in two ways:

Case Studies: Provides information on challenges that other communities are facing and adaptation strategies they are considering.
Planning Guides: Provides links to guides that assist communities to develop adaptation plans.
